Harrison, first of all, I note that you can’t answer my question so you’re changing the subject. Secondly, Rob says he isn’t certain if Wu is a currently a Chinese official, and if you click his own link for her and then google the ministry she was an official for, you’ll she isn’t listed. Third, she is only one member of an international organization, hardly someone “in a position of authority over the planning of this community.” Fourth you need to look up “Communist.” It doesn’t mean anyone who agrees in any way with something Marx thought. Rooker is a managing member of a legal firm, and according to wikipedia has “owned and operated media, real estate and venture capital businesses.” That makes him a capitalist. You can look it up.

What information should any Chinese official have? How about NONE, and no official or citizen of China belongs in a position of authority over the planning of this community? Where did you leave your common sense? Wu should be back in China, I hear they have a lot of quality-of-life problems that could use a dedicated planner such as her.

And DeWitt, thank you for saying we do not have any Communist in our local government, that is quite comforting. While they may not (Rooker), describe what they promote as “Communist”, it clearly is.

If Dennis Rooker doesn’t want to be labeled Communist, he ought to stop promoting Communist schemes.

While we do not have any Communist in our local government we do have some in our county. We do however have a few Socialist leaning government officials and some others who don't have a clue of Communist effluence's that are driving their decisions. The greatest enemy we face today is within and it is the hardest to recognize.

A Communist Chinese national and a neo-Marxist planning-activist inside Albemarle County Government—each bought and paid for with taxpayer dollars—should raise red flags to even casual observers. But instead, there is deafening silence.

What, you expect to >i>hear the flags being raised? Also, the phrase “tip of the iceberg” refers to the fact that icebergs are dangerous to ships because they are much larger under water than what can be seen above water from the ship. The danger referred to is not of the iceberg melting. I admire you for homeschooling your kids, but they’re going to need ESL classes.

What your purple-prosed, metaphor mixing, culturally illiterate rant lacks is any evidence that the information the ICLEI representative has is actually sensitive – that any harm could actually come from a Chinese official having it. You also indicate initially that you’re not sure if Wu is or merely was an official. The second time you just claim he is, illustrating how you believe what you want to believe.

Oh, and a gulag is a Soviet labor camp.
