In a nearly unbelievable display of institutional hubris, Albemarle County Public Schools (ACPS) has been caught a third time in recent months blocking conservative candidates online, while allowing access to their Democrat counterparts.
First, it was the Governor’s race: Republican Winsome Earle-Sears (blocked) vs. Abigail Spanberger (allowed).
Next, it was High School political groups: High School Republican Federation of Virginia (blocked) vs. Virginia High School Democrats (allowed).
Now, it has been discovered that ACPS network “filters” are playing favorites with local politics, as well.
In the race for Albemarle County Board of Supervisors Samuel Miller District, ACPS internal programming is blocking the site of Republican Scott Smith while allowing unfettered access to the URL of his Democrat opponent, Fred Missel.
