As a follow-up to our popular “bumper music brought to life” post, here’s another long-lost gem from The Schilling Show video vaults.

In this clip, Rob, and his band, The Johnsons, nail the Three Dog Night classic, Mama Told Me (Not to Come). Dig those 3-part harmonies!

This was the band’s final “official” show before Rob moved to Virginia. Recorded on July 11, 1998 at Schoonerville, in Sunland, CA, by Frances Mena, videographer.

P.S. A Schilling Show gold star to the first reader who can identify from memory, the composer of this song. (Internet searches not allowed!)
