WINA’S ROB SCHILLING TO APPEAR ON FOX NEWS CHANNEL’S
FOX & FRIENDS TELEVISION PROGRAM
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA, June 2, 2009 – Radio personality and former Charlottesville City Councilor, Rob Schilling, host of AM 1070 WINA’s The Schilling Show will be a guest tomorrow on Fox News Channel’s nationwide morning television program, Fox & Friends. The segment is set to air at 8:45 AM ET.

Fox & Friends will be covering Schilling’s blog post entitled, “Sarah Palin mocked, ‘globalist’ indoctrination promoted in Albemarle County middle school classroom,” a story that was broken on The Schilling Show blog, www.schillingshow.com, over the weekend.

Schilling was contacted by concerned parents and students at Albemarle County’s Henley Middle School regarding one-sided political messages displayed in this classroom. The blog post documented the complaints with photographs of the material and contrasted them with references to Albemarle County School Board policy, which the classroom environment appears to violate.

  1. I hope that you will have someone there in support of Mrs. Shepherd, otherwise the interview would be “unbalanced,” and that would be a shame. I hope you a good day.

  2. Of course Fox news will have someone in support of Ms. Shepherd IF someone agrees to come on. How about you?

  3. Of course the school system would back the teacher. It saves them money. The more children who enroll in private schools the more money the system doesn’t have to spend.

  4. I was raised in a backwoods town here in Virginia. In all the years of my schooling I could never tell you how any teacher voted. My civics teacher in high-school seemed to me to be as staunch a Democrat as my dad (in my young eyes). Some years later I discovered he was an actual member of the John Birch Society.

Today I can tell you how every one of my daughter’s teachers vote. That ultra right-wing teacher in rural Virginia had a professionalism beyond the comprehension of the local school workers (I hesitate to call them teachers).
