Charlottesville, Albemarle Republicans to merge?
By Schilling Show on Jan 07, 2010 with Comments 0
The Charlottesville and Albemarle Republican Committees may soon become a single entity.
Sources within the party confirm that the individual units are in the exploratory phases of a possible merger, which if implemented would result in one of the larger GOP units in Virginia.
The concept is expected to have its first public airing Saturday, January 9 at the monthly regional GOP breakfast meeting. The 8:15 AM gathering will be held at the Golden Corral restaurant, 1185 Seminole Trail.
