Shit Show at WAHS The Schilling Show

Note: AI generated photo for illustration purposes only.

The Schilling Show has received multiple reports of a dangerous health problem at Western Albemarle High School (WAHS). Raw sewage has been backing up into classrooms with floor drains, as well as into toilets throughout the school, for over a week.

Many bathrooms have been closed, and mitigation efforts have been ineffective thus far.

Students and faculty/staff alike are concerned over continued exposure to raw sewage (a biohazard) and the seeming indifference by WAHS and Division administration.

This is a developing story; further details provided upon receipt.

  1. Wonder if this is related to the 5 days of rain we’ve had and perhaps a septic tank and drain field issue at WAHS (if the school is not on a public sewer system). Nasty sh*tsuation.

  2. Raw sewage has been backing up into classrooms and toilets at WAHS for over a week—and the administration is seemingky turning a blind eye.
Instead of shutting down the school to protect students and teachers, multiple bathrooms have simply been locked while students and staff are left breathing in and sitting next to an active, dangerous biohazard.
This is a massive failure at every single level:
Students/Staff Exposed to hazardous bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella) and toxic fumes just to sit through class.
THE LAW: Total exposure to crippling gross negligence lawsuits, state workplace safety violations (VOSH), and federal EPA/environmental fines if this leaks into our local watersheds.
THE ADMINISTRATION: Complete indifference. The school board can’t hide behind sovereign immunity when they willingly leave human waste in a public school building for days on end.
Albemarle County Public Schools needs to answer for this immediately. Our students and teachers are not collateral damage for a broken system
