Has convicted sex offender and con-current Albemarle County Supervisor, Chris Dumler, been telegraphing a secret warning to constituents via his official web site: ChristopherDumler.com?

The Dumler site’s headline banner reads:

Albemarle County Supervisor
Christopher J. Dumler
Fighting for Scottsvile’s Fair share
[emphasis added)

Dictonary.com describes “vile,” as follows:

vile

1. wretchedly bad: a vile humor.

2. highly offensive, unpleasant, or objectionable: vile slander.

3. repulsive or disgusting, as to the senses or feelings: a vile odor.

4. morally debased, depraved, or despicable: vile deeds.

5. foul; filthy: vile language.

While Chris Dumler’s web site slip may be a simple case of poor editing or designer incompetence, the message conveyed is downright Freudian.

  1. LOL!! Talk about your ‘truth in advertising’! Never noticed that before; good catch, Rob!

  2. I've heard you can't get there from here. But I've found that if you drive out to nowhere then take a left, you'll be in Scottsville. :)

  3. Cute, Rob, but since it’s Dumler’s behavior, not the town or the town’s behavior, that’s vile, you’re not actually making sense.
