Convicted sexual batterer and Democrat Albemarle County Supervisor, Chris Dumler, exits from the Albemarle County General District Court and is barraged with media questions and resident demands for his resignation.

See the errant Supervisor chuckle his way through chants of “rapist” and “liar” as Cynthia Neff and Tom Olivier escort him to Neff’s waiting automobile.

  1. The face of Albemarle County’s Democrat Party is the same as the national democrat party. No morals!

Protect the criminal and the heck with the victims.

It’s pretty clear, if Albemarle wants morality they will have to elect Republicans.

  2. you are the critical problem you need to resign what is your problem you are a terrible human being.

  3. he is a disgrace to our community and our Albemarle county board of supes and that smirk and the way you you throw it back in the peoples face you need to go why do you stay no one even wants you here you are an idiot.

  4. Well, the current law let a predator go on his merry way. Now the police officer walking along with the group as he left was that for his protection or to ensure that if the young lady say something, off to jail she goes. Now about the white hair woman who stop suddenly and young woman almost walked into her. Was there anything say to that woman.
Nothing never changes around here, the jackass always seem to win. Why because the most of good people stand at home and until it hit them directly in face, let someone else hand the problem. Wake up people.

  5. Quote heard from Dumler immediately after the verdict was read: “HA! Take THAT and shove it up your a**. That’s the way I LIKE it!”

  6. So this is the video in which Dumler is seen “fleeing” his critics. Except that all I see him doing is answering questions, ignoring taunts, and calmly walking away.

I remember during the Sullivan-Dragas affair last summer, when Rob, who immediately took Dragas’s side because he hates UVA professors for their liberal views, opened a show by pretending to criticize himself, facetiously accepting a UVA professor’s facetious promise to resign on the show if Rob would put himself down. So first came a fake promise to resign in return for Rob’s self-criticism, then Rob’s fake self-criticism, and then, and then later in the show, Rob’s all too real anger at the guy for not calling the show and resigning. It was as if the host had had a little psychotic break; as if he was, during those moments of outrage, a functioning schizophrenic who couldn’t distinguish the real from the phony.

That’s what happens when you make a habit of disingenuous descriptions, self-pitying rhetorical double-standards (EW Jackson “demonized,” the Tea Party “attacked,” liberty “under assault”), and a general refusal to love your enemies by trying to assess their behavior objectively before criticizing them. You start losing your marbles.

I’m always fascinated that so many people apparently find this an acceptable standard of behavior.

  7. Psychopaths in politics.

“Sociopaths love power. They love winning. If you take loving kindness out of the human brain, there’s not much left except the will to win.” [Said Martha Stout, psychologist of psychopathy].

  8. Another explanation for Dumbler’s weird behavior.

    Personality “Aggressive narcissism”

    Glibness/superficial charm
    Grandiose sense of self-worth
    Pathological lying
    Cunning/manipulative
    Lack of remorse or guilt
Shallow affect (genuine emotion is short-lived and egocentric)
    Callousness; lack of empathy
Failure to accept responsibility for his or her own actions

  9. Also several of traits listed above will be found in descripation for anti-socail personality.

  10. when one’s step back and look at what has happen. No one won anything. Four human being lives are ruined. Period. There is allot of angry individuals who feel that Dumler should step down. Yet at next election. Dumler is acting the way he was taught by someone he know in his personal life. We are seeing Dumler true colors. Only things we can do is pray for all victims involved. The law needs to be updated to cover this type of crime. As I learned dealing with predator is not to give them attention they seek. Instead just keep eye on them but do it without him knowing it. Isolate him!…. I am more concern about the young males entering man hood and see what Dumler did as a great things. What they don’t understand if they don’t have someone in their corner who is somebody they are going to prison for a very long time.

  11. We are seeing Dumler true colors.

Did you read the statement he released?

In part: “It’s one thing to dislike me politically, or believe that I shouldn’t maintain my seat because of the misdemeanor I entered into a plea agreement for, but it’s another entirely to forgo the seat I was democratically elected to under the shadow of an allegation of neglect, incompetence, or misuse of office.”

In other words, he stayed in office long enough for a measure of what he feels is personal vindication, and then and only then did he do the right thing.

  12. Give him credit, he is not stupid, as allot of people throught he was.
For we will never know what really happen and in my life none of my business.
In coarse of human events it is sad that this happen but that is what makes us fallible human being.
