Dan Moy, a GOP candidate in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District—and establishment challenger to incumbent conservative, Bob Good— has just submitted his first financial report.

An inceptive analysis of Moy’s inbound donations show an overwhelming 61% of total funds raised have come from out-of-district.

According to FEC documents, Moy raised a $107,146 in the quarter ending March 31; however, only $41,949 was donated from inside the 5th District.

Confusingly, Moy, who has struggled with messaging and has embraced his affiliation with a hard-left-leaning Democrat front group, continues his campaign of personal ambition despite a clear lack of support.
