Spell-check: Daily Progress misspells award recipient name

In presenting their annual “Readers’ Choice” Awards, the Daily Progress has made another (what should be) embarrassing gaffe.

Schilling Show host, Rob Schilling, was deemed “Runner-Up” in the category: Trendsetters. However, the newspaper misspelled the recipient’s name as “Shilling.”

No matter that Mr. Schilling has been a near-constant subject of that publication and all local media for 18 years. Could the slight have been intentional?

Nevertheless, The Schilling Show thanks the Daily Progrees for their recognition of his continuing impact on local, state, national, and international news.
