Yet again, a massive brawl has been filmed during school hours at Charlottesville High School (CHS).

This time, the arena was the school library, and as a result of the melee, a staff member reportedly was injured and is seeking legal counsel.

According to witnesses (unconfirmed), the fight began when a group of students was involved in religious activity in the library and another group of students entered. Racially charged language was exchanged, and the fight followed.

In spite of the school’s highly publicized cell phone ban, several videos of the tumultuous event were captured by students and circulated.

This is the third documented CHS brawl since recently resigned principal, Rashaad Pitt assumed leadership in August of 2022; the previous two are linked below:

Charlottesville City Schools’ lax disciplinary policies play a large part in what has become a practically unmanageable high school, and consequently, many long-time teachers, staff, and administrators are contemplating whether they desire to continue employment with the wayward Division.

  1. “According to witnesses (unconfirmed), the fight began when a group of students (WHITE KIDS) was involved in religious activity in the library and another group of students (BLACK KIDS)entered. Racially charged language was exchanged,(black kids disparagng the white kids) and the fight followed.
Because we know that white kids having a religious meeting are NOT going to be shouting the N word.
